ESG
ESG as an element of day-to-day management
We treat ESG as a functional standard for conducting business activities in the demanding construction industry. It applies to the way we design and execute installations, manage safety on construction sites, cooperate with business partners, ensure stable and comfortable working conditions as well as develop and standardise internal processes.
This approach is reflected in our ESG strategy, which sets the direction of action in environmental, social and governance areas. It defines objectives and key performance indicators, and provides a framework for planning, monitoring and systematically improving our activities.
Every project is analysed by us in terms of energy demand, choice of materials, durability of solution and impact on the environment at the concept, design and execution stages. Through the installation solutions applied by us, we support clients in energy transition, contributing to lower emissions, improved energy efficiency and a longer life cycle of facilities.
We treat the environmental impact as an integral part of technical decisions and the way we organise work.
Environmental
The role of an installation contractor increasingly involves an active support for the investor in achieving their environmental and energy objectives.
In our practice, this means combining the requirements and needs of the investor with technical solutions that reduce material losses in the prefabrication and installation processes, but also minimise construction waste.

Sustainable approach to procurement
We source materials from responsible and certified suppliers, aggregate our purchasing needs and support local supply chains. Also, we promote the reuse and recycling of materials and avoid substances harmful to human health and the environment.
We aim to optimise delivery logistics and support the rational use of resources by making purchasing decisions that take into account both Life Cycle Costing (LCC) and the environmental impact of products (Life Cycle Assessment /LCA/).
Environmental responsibility during construction works
- we protect trees, shrubs and existing habitats from destruction and damage,
- we limit noise, dust and pollutant emissions through proper organisation of work,
- we implement waste separation directly at source (in situ) and, where this is not feasible, we apply off-site separation (out situ) in cooperation with authorised entities,
- we reduce the consumption of water and electricity at the site facilities.
Carbon footprint
We monitor greenhouse emissions resulting from our activities in Scope 1 and Scope 2. This allows us to assess on an ongoing basis the climate impact of the implemented projects and operational facilities, and to identify areas where emissions can be reduced through organisational, technical or logistical changes.

- in-house Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) teams that ensure quality control, proper commissioning and optimal setting of installations.
The completion of installations in large-scale projects requires close cooperation between many teams and the maintenance of high operational standards at every stage of the work. Therefore, our approach to people covers both the development of technical competencies and the implementation of systems that ensure safety and consistency of operations.
The social area focuses on organising work in an environment where safety, competencies and accountability have a direct impact on the course of the investment.
Social
The ESG social area puts an emphasis on responsibility not only towards our employees but also towards any subcontractors and partners engaged in contract execution. In the construction industry this means in particular ensuring safe working conditions, clear standards of cooperation and accountability of the implementation teams. Social aspects also relate to promoting diversity and inclusion, developing competencies and building positive relationships with local communities.

Safety on site and in the office
We have implemented systemic solutions that support the protection of our teams on sites and in day-to-day operational work. They include advanced OHS procedures, regular reviews of working conditions, monitoring of compliance with safety rules on site and educational activities such as Safety Week.
High OHS requirements are also placed by us on our subcontractors. Each of them is obliged to act in compliance with Inplag’s OHS guidelines, quality assurance plans and instructions for the safe work execution. On every construction site we carry our regular OHS inspections concluded with formal reports. The reports indicate good practices and identify any areas for improvement, forming the basis for improving working conditions and reducing risks related to work execution.
We have also implemented a system of Safety Alerts. These are short, specific messages sent to employees following incidents or near-misses. The system supports root-cause analysis of events, raises awareness of tasks and helps prevent similar situations in the future.
Employees and development
The development of technical competencies is considered by us as a key element in safeguarding the quality and safety of our projects. Every year, we run a dedicated training program covering both mandatory training required by law and industry standards, and training aimed at upskilling, improving the quality of work and developing specialised technical competencies. We remain open to training proposals submitted by employees, adapting competence development to the actual needs of individual teams and projects in progress.
We support the development of employees through enabling their participation in industry conferences, which allow knowledge exchange and access to up-to-date industry solutions. We also cooperate with technical universities, offering young engineers the opportunity to gain professional experience and practical preparation for work in the installation industry.
Well-being and dialogue with employees
We take care of health and well-being of employees through mental support programs and activities promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle. We treat them as an element complementing our business standards. At the same time, we actively listen to our employees and take their needs and any signals coming from within the organisation into account when improving the work environment and our internal practices. Our goal is to create working conditions that foster safety, accountability, mental and physical balance as well as lasting employee engagement.
Ethics and equal treatment
At Inplag, a zero-tolerance principle applies to all forms of discrimination, mobbing, harassment and behaviour that violates human dignity. The principles of equal treatment, ethical conduct and mutual respect are set out in our internal regulations that apply to all employees of the Company. We have also established an Equal Treatment Committee. Its role is to handle reports while respecting the confidentiality and protection of those who submit them.
The above principles also apply to our recruitment processes. We conduct recruitment in an open and transparent manner, respecting the principles of equal treatment, regardless of any characteristics unrelated to qualifications and job requirements. Job advertisements are written in a neutral and inclusive way, and HR decisions are made based on competencies and experience of candidates as well as their fitness with organisational requirements.
All employees are given training on anti-discrimination, ethics and workplace transparency, and these principles form a part of our day-to-day organizational practice.
Community engagement
We engage in social initiatives that strengthen our presence in the local environment. We support charitable activities, community campaigns and educational projects, considering them as a natural extension of the responsibility of a company that operates across many professional and local environments.

We perceive corporate governance as a coherent system of procedures, standards and control mechanisms that supports effective management, prevention of corruption and money laundering, reliable reporting and data protection. The foundation of this system includes our compliance codes and procedures strengthening a culture of accountability and form the basis for conducting business in an honest manner, in compliance with the law and stakeholders’ expectations.
Our goal is to build a coherent compliance system that supports responsible decision-making, prevention of irregularities and long-term, stable development of the Company.
Governance
We implement projects both in Poland and on international markets for clients using various financial models, which involves the need to ensure full transparency and meet the requirements of national and international law as well as the extensive standards of financing institutions and investors.

Counteracting corruption and fraud
We apply procedures for verifying business partners and carry out due diligence activities aimed at identifying legal, financial and reputational risks. We do not enter into cooperation with entities included in the sanctions lists.
We have implemented anti-corruption procedures and our contracting processes are subject to multi-stage verification by the controlling, finance and compliance teams, which enables ongoing control of transactions and prevents fraud. At the same time, we follow transparent procedures for selecting subcontractors and suppliers, based on objective criteria and ethical principles.
Reporting irregularities and follow-up actions
We operate a procedure for the safe reporting of any irregularities and for the handling of such reports. Its purpose is the early detection of any breaches and prevention of legal, ethical and reputational risks, while at the same time protecting persons reporting such irregularities.
Reports may be submitted via dedicated and secure channels. They are handled while maintaining the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity or any information that could enable their identification. The access to reports is limited to authorised persons and the process of handling them is conducted in an impartial, independent and documented manner that is proportional to the reported event.
Follow-up actions include analysing the report, conducting appropriate investigations and implementing preventive or corrective measures, where justified.
Risk management
We apply a systemic approach to risk management. We identify operational, legal and financial risks at every stage of project execution. They are analysed both at the level of individual contracts and the whole organisation, and then they are subject to measures limiting their impact on the achievement of business goals.
We develop and use digital tools that enable monitoring key risk areas, increase the transparency of processes and support data-driven decision-making. Regular risk reviews allow us to update our assumptions and adjust our actions to changing operational conditions.
Personal data and information protection
We have introduced an information security management system under which procedures for the protection of data and confidential information have been implemented. The system covers, among other things, rules for accessing, processing and securing information as well as mechanisms limiting the risk of unauthorised access or breaches.
We train our employees in data protection and cybersecurity on a regular basis, raising their awareness of risks and responsibility related to the processing of information.
Confirmation of ESG standards and responsible management
At INPLAG, we follow high standards of business ethics, transparency and compliance with applicable legal regulations. We have been awarded the EcoVadis Bronze Medal by one of the world’s most recognised platforms for assessing companies in the area of sustainability.
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates the quality of a company’s management system in four areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.
In the installation industry, technical expertise and the quality of delivered projects remain essential. At the same time, increasing importance is placed on organisational management standards, process transparency, business ethics, responsible relationships with suppliers and partners, and risk management.
The EcoVadis rating allows these areas to be assessed in a structured and comparable way. This is particularly relevant in projects delivered for demanding investors, general contractors and international partners, for whom ESG standards are increasingly becoming part of contractor credibility assessment.
We treat the EcoVadis Bronze Medal as confirmation of the direction we are consistently developing across environmental, social and governance areas. At the same time, it provides a point of reference for further improvement of processes, documentation, reporting and cooperation across the entire supply chain.
It is another element in building an organisation that operates in a responsible, transparent manner and in line with the expectations of clients, business partners and financial institutions.
